Janis Joplin’s 1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet, which was restored in the 1990s, is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! at Sotheby’s on December 10th. Her family is expecting it to bring in more than $400k.

What say you, Oppo? Nice Price or Heroin Needle?

Neither. At this point it’s art and there’s no real “comps” in the market.

Janis is an icon. Love her music. I have pretty much her entire discography on my phone. Good stuff. That being said, I can see the right buyer paying 400k for the Porsche.

I think it will go for more than that. Its a great car with a both a pop culture history and a racing lineage.

I have seen this vehicle two different times at two different locations. And while I think it is very interesting, I don’t really think it’s worth $400k.
